Our friend Gordon, who is in the Army National Guard, has been activated to join the relief effort. We don't know much else. He reports to his unit tomorrow morning.
All those affected by these storms (both victims and rescuers) need our thoughts and prayers.
Gordon, you have ours. Be careful out there.
Edit 9/28: Because Stacie had her baby, Gordon gets a pass from this call-up. He'll be able to stay at home and take care of Stacie and Lucas. Good luck to the unit, and I hope they all come home safely.
